Seeing impact, Together

The purpose of a personal trainer (aka coach): Whether you are new to a gym or a seasoned gym rat, you can benefit from working with a trainer. As a beginner, a trainer can help motivate you, teach you how to safely and effectively use exercise machines, and help you develop a workout program that matches your abilities and goals. If you are already accustomed to working out in a gym or are training for a particular event, a trainer can help you build endurance, avoid boredom and enhance your current workout to achieve your specific goal. Trainers are also beneficial if you are recovering from an injury.

For more info or to set up a consult please call us at (978)-475-2020 and ask for Alex or Diana.
*All training appointments and consultations require a minimum of 24-hour notice to cancel. Clients are responsible for the payment of any sessions where the 24-hour notice to cancel has not been provided.

How do I meet with a trainer?

Scheduling a meeting with a trainer is as easy as picking up the phone. An initial consult with a trainer is free of charge. Please use this time to find out if you and the trainer are compatible, and can work towards your goals. To schedule a consult, call and ask for Diana.

What to look for in a trainer

Hiring a trainer is a little like choosing a spouse. Your number one priority should be compatibility. All of our trainers at Yang’s are nationally certified and many hold degrees in Exercise Science or related fields.

Length of training sessions and commitment

Training sessions can range from 30, 45 to 60 minutes and can be held one-on-one (a.k.a. Personal Training*), with a buddy (Buddy Training which is 2 participants with 1 trainer) in a small group (3 to 4 participants per group to 1 trainer/coach) and Team Training (min. 3 up to 10 participants per group to 1 trainer/coach).
